EPHESUS PICKLEBALL COURTS UNDER REPAIR

The Ephesus Pickleball courts are closed for repair and renovation.

This work is expected to require approximately two weeks.

During this closure the entire existing court area will be leveled and a new more shock absorbing surface called “mondoten”  will be overlaid on the newly leveled court base.  Following the mondoten installation the entire surface will be painted with new acrylic colors  to define courts and boundaries.

This new mondoten court playing surface will positively effect our playing experience by preventing  water from pooling in the low areas of  the courts.  In addition, the new court surface will prevent water from seeping up on to the courts through exiting cracks.  And, as an added bonus, the resurfaced courts will be much more player friendly as the mondoten  will  absorb some the impact usually transferred to our lower joints during play.
