We’ve had great success with our evening leagues. Both the Intermediate and Advanced ladder leagues look like they’ll fill up again this season.
Last fall and this spring we received feedback from a number of folks asking whether we could offer a morning ladder league as well. The steering committee has looked at ways to provide this. We have managed to find some court time (indoor courts at Hargraves during morning), and some volunteer captains to manage the league.
At this point, we need to know if we have enough interest to proceed with the league. If you would be interested in playing, please send an email to Brad (bmh@ils.unc.edu), indicating that you would be interested in playing.
We have not finalized details on days and times yet, but most likely around 9am-12pm, probably one of Wednesday, Thursday or Friday at Hargraves. League would run from Sept through mid November. Format would be same as evening leagues, in that you play 3 games with different partners each week over one hour. This would be an OPEN league, in that any level player could participate (the ladder sorts you towards players your own level for your games each week).
