Pickleball Enthusiasts,
Pickleball is a FUN, challenging and addictive game and we all want every opportunity to play. Since we’ve added the Ephesus outdoor courts, it’s been much easier to play without a long wait to get back on the courts. However, as Pickleball continues to grow in Chapel Hill, the Ephesus courts have sometimes become crowded too. To make sure everyone has an equal and fair opportunity to play on the courts, the CHPB Steering Committee has established rules for signing up and using the courts when they are crowded and people are waiting. To keep things simple the system is very similar to how we sign up for indoor courts.
Courtesy and Respect for other players is Rule No 1. Please be respectful of everyone, and follow the rules when courts are full. The new Open Play rules are mounted beside the Sign Up board on the east side fence.
A copy of these sign-up rules is also attached to this email. Please review these rules thoughtfully. Use them with respectful consideration for your fellow players and extend every courtesy to those who are also waiting to play. We are lucky to have these great courts at Ephesus; let’s make it so everyone can enjoy them.
See you on the courts.
