Pickleball Athletes,
This Thursday, July 27, from 6-8pm, Parks and Recreation will be utilizing as many as two pickleball courts at Ephesus Park for their “Summer Youth Drop-In Program”. Likely 7-8 youths will be participating in a clinic for pickleball during this period. Jen Johnson and Gracia Barry have volunteered to assist P & R’s, Robb English, with this program.
Be aware that P&R has total control of the Ephesus Courts and will be using two of the six courts for their exclusive use during the Summer Youth Drop In Program. The four remaining courts will be available on an open-play basis during this Thursday’s play session.
PLAY LATER AT EPHESUS!
For those of you seeking to play pickleball later in the evening at Ephesus, be aware that the court lights now stay on till 11pm. P&R has also replaced the burned out, overhead parking lot light adjacent to the restrooms. You will now find the parking lot much better illuminated after dark.
Also, thanks and a tip of the hat to Jen Johnson for providing the solar powered lamps along the front stairway into the courts.
See you on the courts.
