We just wanted to update you on the upcoming Chapel Hill Pickleball Town Hall and the Steering Committee elections.
The Town Hall is Sunday, June 4th starting at 5:45pm in the meeting room at the Community Center on Estes. Please put that on your calendar. This is a chance for everyone to give feedback and ask questions about pickleball in Chapel Hill. The ambassadors will be present, we hope most all of the steering committee (including new members) will be able to attend, and we will have a Parks and Recreation representative as well.
The Steering Committee nominations are in, and we now have a number of confirmed candidates. We are in process of getting their nominating statements, and will hold elections the end of next week via email ballots. Watch for email the end of next week. We’re excited to have some new voices on the steering committee.
We look forward to building the best pickleball community possible here in Chapel Hill.
